2 Hour Intensive Workshop with Markus and Tren
Saturday: 10:00am-12:00pm
Explore how Hip Hop, R&B, and Soul music shape the feel, groove, and expression of West Coast Swing. In this intensive, dancers will develop deeper musicality through groove, body movement, timing, texture, and partner connection inspired by these rich musical styles.
Through solo and partnered exercises, musical breakdowns, and improvisation, you’ll learn how to embody the music more authentically while expanding your movement quality, expression, and social dance confidence.
Whether you’re preparing for competition, seeking inspiration, or looking to take your dancing to the next level, this class will empower you to embody Hip Hop, R&B, and Soul with purpose, passion, and authenticity.
